Arri Zeiss Master

Arri Master Prime T1.3 PL with incredible close focus capability are best described as perfect. Seriously these lenses are so good at everything that they are actually faultless. They are colour matched with the Arri Ultra Primes and the Arri Alura zooms. They are big and heavy though but it is a small price to pay. The only reason to use other lenses (apart from budget) is if you actually want a distinctive look from you lens. Perhaps you want a vintage look to create a softer image or you love lens flares then take a look at the gorgeous Zeiss Super Speeds or the Canon K35 primes. Arri WCU-4 3

Arri Sun 40/25

The ARRISUN 40/25 2.5/4K HMI PAR is a much loved industry standard. So if you are punching light through a silk or bouncing off a poly board the ARRISUN will do a fantastic job. The 40/25 can be used with a 2,500 or 4,000W HMI lamp so it is a very versatile light. It comes with a range of converter lenses to allow creative beam control. It has low noise, 75hz and flicker free 1000hz. This comes as standard with the 2.5K Lamp at a cost of £125 per day. If required with a 4K lamp the cost would be £225 per day, please specify this on booking so we can fit the correct lamp for you. ***Please note if being run as a 4K unit this would not be able to be powered from a standard 13amp power source***

So if you don’t need the blast of daylight that a 2.5K or 4K gives you or you don’t have a big electricity supply then this is the HMI for you. It is flicker free 1000hz. The SMB-1 is a large studio matte box, it is designed for bigger wide-angle prime lenses, as well as zooms. Arri have managed to create a lens that is sharp, but also manages to look soft and luscious at the same time. A very neat trick. The quality of these lenses is literally incredible. They cover full frame, but also produce stunning results on Super-35mm sensors (with an LPL-PL adapter). One of the features that, now we’ve seen it we can’t believe isn’t more widely done, is the ability to insert filters at the rear of the lens, this means that filters can be smaller and easier to produce at a high quality. We absolutely love these lenses, and are fast becoming the go-to lenses when you want your product to be of the highest quality and also have an incredible “look”. Arri Matte Box

The ARRI MMB-2 is a compact and lightweight matte box for use clamped onto a lens or on lightweight 15 mm rods. With a wide range of available accessories, the MMB-2 is a fully featured matte box that fits well with the latest lightweight digital cameras.

Arri Matte Box

The MB-19 is a compact, lightweight production matte box which is supplied with a filter stage for two 4″ x 5.65″ filters. The front filter can be pushed through vertically, the rear filter can be displaced horizontally and additionally rotated. The filter stage is fitted with a rear receptacle for 138 mm diameter filter rings as well as for an additional filter stage for one 4″ x 5.65″ filter and one 138 mm round filter. When mounted on the new lightweight support LWS-3, graduated filters can be pushed through unhindered. Side flags with adjustable segments, used in conjunction with the top light shield provide optimum protection against unwanted light. To simplify lens changing, the matte box swings out. For quick adaptation to different lens lengths, the matte box can be moved back and forth with a lockable adjustment knob. A holder for secure mounting of french flags is included.

The Arri MB-18 4″x5.65″ production Matte Box is the standard for film and commercial work. It is a flexible wide-angle studio Matte Box that can be used with primes and various zoom Lenses. It is a good alternative to the Arri MB-14 if a smaller build is needed. It does require a studio bridge plate.

Arri Matte Box

The LMB 6×6 is designed for maximum modularity at a minimum weight, and optimised for 6.6 x 6.6 inch filters. The Matte Box can be used with 15 mm and 19 mm studio rod support. To avoid unwanted reflections the LMB 6×6 can be tilted 10° up and down with the optional Swing Away Tilt Module. All common lens diameters are available as clamp adapters to fit the matte box directly to a lens. The LMB 6×6 also features versatile filter stage options, securing loops, and a tray catcher for maximum safety on set.
